Just got this today and it's got the fan controller on the front but i'm struggling to find where to plug the adapter in, anyone help me out?

If I understand you correctly, your case fans will plug into 2 or 3 fan sockets ( 3 pin ), which are already connected to the fan controller. The rear exhaust however, is connected to a psu molex connector, which I find quiet enough considering its at full 12volts all the time.

It baffled me for a while also.

So if i plug in just the fan controller all the fans will work?

here's a pic of mine,

So, you have to plug your case fans into the two fan connectors, and also the psu molex connector, to power the fan controller and temps read out.

Zalman Z9 Plus

Interesting info on the fan controller.

Can you guys comment on the sound of the Z9 Plus with all the stock fans on high?

with stock fans on full I can only hear anything when sound is muted in the dead of night, and I always have the fans on full. ( my Z9 plus is on the floor )
