Anyone using one of these....need a low profile cooler for a HTPC and the stock Intel cooler on my E6600 can get a bit loud when doing a bit of work...net or mail is fine but use it for video editing ....temps at present are floating about the 40-50 mark....its a very tight case Silverstone LC11...had a Zalman 7700 AlCu but won't fit in the case...

I think it's a bit better than the CNPS7000, which is very good.

I've got a 7000 on my overclocked Opteron and it never goes above 48 degrees and is silent. So the 8000 with its heatpipes should be even better, and silent if you control the fan, or leave it on auto speed.
