ZALMAN CNPS9700-LED CPU COOLER DEAL

You must have got an old stock one because that's the same cooler i have and it came with the stuff pictured above, plus the proper 775 screw down bracket that is on the right of the one you highlighted further up. I would try contacting Zalman again using the RMA form and inform them that the LGA775 screw down bracket was missing.

I have tried to fill that form out several times m8 and no matter what I do it wont accept my phone number.

I have emailed support several times also and I keep getting the mailer-daemon error user unknown.

This is the address I have tried [email protected]

Now I give up trying to send emails to them so I just registered on the forum lets see if I get anywhere with them on there.

Looks like I'm it's contacting OC support again just received this from one of the guys on zalmans forum.

I asked why couldn't I get any further with the online RMA form and this is what I got back.

Hello Lord,

The phone number format on the RMA is ###-###-####. You don't have to include 1 when punching in the phone number.

Also, our RMA is only for US and Canada. If you are located anywhere outside of US or Canada, we are not able to provide services. You will have to contact your place of purchase and get a replacement for that product.

Also, what email were you sending out your request to? If you are in the US or Canada, please PM me with your email address and we will contact you from here.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

So it looks like it's upto overclockers to sort me out with this bracket ...bit miffed with zalman really ..how can they sell a product in this country with no support!!!

I have an e6600 that needs 1.45v to run ok at 3.6ghz however with my artic freezer 7 pro it goes to 100c in IBT!

Is this cooler much better than an artic freezer 7 pro?

I have the 9500A m8 even with the problems I am having with the way it's mounted I can't say anything bad about it fantastic temps on the same processor as you @ 3.2Ghz...with temps 14/17 idle and maxin out at 21/24 ...the system isn't really used that much but I do use it for the odd video converting when I'm at the gf/s.

No way are they that low;)
Anyone else got any comment on this cooler over the freezer 7 pro?

Your house must be freezing cold mate, how can it be possible to have temps as low as this?

Temps in most peoples houses are around 20c I thought, so it would be impossible for you to have these temps surely?

The room where the pc is is always cold with no heating in there at all. I have never got a thermometre out to see how cold it is and probably never will but it is colder than 20°C. It's a spare room which is 21x13ft in size with the PC at 1 end and a chest freezer at the other end, which is probably why the room temp is colder than normal.

The side is always off and the fan is on max (which is probably not needed cos it's hardley ever used).

He is BS on the internet cos it makes him cool:rolleyes:

Unlike yourself I am an adult and I don't talk BS on the net or in real life and the only thing that is cool is the temperature of the processor.

Short story this cooler is much better than a artic freezer 7 pro.

Hmm basic physics says the freezer makes the contents cold and the outside gets the heat plus the energy expended by the freezer. Turn the freezer off and you can cool the room.

Basic physics also says keep freezer turned on or all meet inside freezer goes off, which will cost more than CPU over heating.
