Zalman Reserator

does anyone know whether the Zalman Reserator in stock is the new version with the i7 compatible ZM-WB5 Plus CPU block...

the description only lists the older ZM-WB4 GOLD CPU block, which does not support the i7 socket.

I have raised a webnote query but thought I'd ask here in case anyone knows

It's almost certainly the old version - it's probably worth sending the UK distributors an e-mail and ask them if they'll upgrade it for you if you bought it, or as OcUK to swap it out (they're just the retail packs inside the box so they're easy to swap out at the factory or store).

Well I got a reply to my webnote...

I believe they are the new version and will send a note to the product manager to update the specification.

but that doesn't inspire me with enough confidence to order the product, as I'd only end up wasting money to return it if it turned up without the i7 support.

Get one second hand, and with the £100 you saved get a better block, and 3/8 tube
