Was one on an Evga 7800GT which has a copper cooler stock. Was 33c idle 46c full load @ max fan speed and 35c idle 50c load at min speed. I think the stock was 56c load.

My 7800GT with the Arctic Cooling thing on is 40 degree's idle (with the central heating on) and currently at 47 degree's under load @ 490/1200

My VF900 is 40C idle - 57C full load with the fan on the lowest setting.

Is this gfx cooler quieter than the Arctic silencer Rev 3 ?, my Arctic silencer rev 2 is great, keeps my temps really low but if this is quieter i might replace it. My silencer keeps my 6800GT 400/1100 at a nice 44oc idle 50oc load.

Hmmmm, installed mine and load is just as high and even higher when I try overclocking.. first install on my X1900XTX and temps of 100C+ at load, second attemp with the screws as tight as humanly possible and stilll load temp when overclocked of 96C+... So far I'm considering putting the stock fan back on... thats if I can remove the ramsinks without killing the card first... :mad:

Fan at 100% also.. shocking ! :mad:

X1900 XTX (stock)

Stock Cooler - idle 45c / load 85c
Zalman 900 - idle 40c / load 80c [quiet mode]

Although the peak temp isn't much lower, it drops right down to the 40s after 10-15 seconds

Actually seems ok at stock, try applying more then 1.500 volts and watch temp shoot up... .. It can't cope with it at all..
