I'm very close to hitting the buy button on this. What I'm after is a case that has very good airflow and is very quiet. The Zalman seems to tick all these boxes for me and at £45 it looks to be a good buy. I've looked at the Antec 100/300 cases but they don't seem to be up to much in comparison. Are there any other cases I should be looking at up to £50? Cable management is a must also really.
 
Thanks, just flicked through a review on that, the usb ports on the top let it down and also it's not painted inside :(
 
Are you getting them confused, the one I linked is black inside and is a CM 690 II, did you look at a review for a CM 690 which would be the older model.

Nothing wrong with it at all, just making sure I'm not missing out on something potentially better ;)
 
I think the case looks quite nice and has a lot of cooling options for the price. Comes with fans plus! fan filters already installed... All for £45.
 
Exactly my thoughts.

I have a really cheap case, I only planned for it to be a basic PC for web browsing.. didn't last long though :D Airflow is so poor, if I take the side of the case off, temps drop 10c :o
 
im also lookin at buyin the zalaman Z9 plus. quite like the styling and for 45 quid i reckon its the best you can get
 
I've not used my z9 plus case yet but ive got it sitting here waiting to be used. Just waiting for the rest of the msi z68 boards to be released.

I bought it though because it truly is value for money. I've had it out of the box and the quality feels good, it looks good and it's packed with features that you would only expect to get with a case that costs £100+. And it is quite good looking as well isn't it :-)
 
Oops sorry I meant to say end of next week. Not sure if I can wait another week just to save £4 :o

Inside there are three clear fans as well. One at the front, one at the top and one on the side panel. The rear exhaust one is black. I'm hope all three of the clear ones are blue LED lit so I can stick two of them on the side panel and have it light up nicely and then install a few of those cheap Antec fans OcUK have been selling recently.
