Ordered a new door gasket today -rang up and made sure it was right one before placing the order - I gave them prod number and serial number and they confirmed the one I was looking at was correct.
Next job was to see how easy it is to remove and here is my first problem - All videos and youtube vids show ovens with clip on rubber gaskets -dead easy but mine looks like the rubber is in a slot and needs to be either fed or poked into groove.
I am probably making a easy job sound like a nightmare job so question is has anyone replaced the rubber gasket on main oven.
Also noticed some small screws - one on each bottom corner and one central along top of gasket.
It probably won't get here till friday so more time to look and check.

I was hoping he might reply - The door seal came this morning - Wife said don't touch it till you have had your steak and chips tonight.

Thats just her way of saying “eat before you try it, because i know your gonna balls it up and we wont be able to use the oven for a bit”

YEP - A Balls up.

Trust me to buy the one and only Zanussi oven to have the never to be replaced door seal - Bought a new seal and it's identical - Started to remove old one and it just ripped so committed. Managed to get it out as it was stuck in groove with 12 yrs of hot grease. - Cleaned groove and would the new one go on - Not on your life -Who ever designed this pile of **** needs their asses kicked.
Any other cooker the rubber is held on at each corner with a metal tab you turn 90 deg.

The wife is so ****** off (not as much as me) she said leave it and we will buy a new cooker (she means me).

At least they are all the same size so just a case of removing the old and pushing in the new "didn't I say that somewhere else"

Not been a good day today.

Ps - got the seal in place only to find the door is twisted slightly - I have had enough so new oven it is.- 12 yrs use ain't bad

@DXP55 yeah that seal is a ball ache. It's either remove front frame or release slightly and feed it round bit by bit, but I think you already know that now.

Door alignment probably due to hinge supports 311 73 93-00 / 3

New oven on order - it's done 12 years so doesn't owe us anything.

Yes it was a real ball ache - without my mate over the road who is all muscle I would never in a million years got that rubber in.
I did say to wife - bet this rubber was put in while putting it together. £23 down the drain.
