Zeek appears to be in Receivership

Yeah, whoever heard of Bose, Nike (unless you're a douche that pronounces it Nykey) or Skype?

Hey if you want to have a start up with one syllable. Good luck getting people to remember it.

Unrelated (well not actually) but for the record Nike is an American company pronounced Nikey. So you're the douche for criticising people who pronounce it correctly.

Used to use them often. Going to a retail park or restaurant quick look for a gift card instant saving on something we had planned to spend but around december had an issue with a gift card not working and after that when i tried to purchase they added a fee on each transaction so I stopped using them.

We're not in America here. We don't use their pronunciations. We use ours. No accent over the e so it should be flat.
Or do you say aluminum?

Just had a can of coke. It was in the fridge next to a can of sprite. On the shelf below my mars. Also remember - veet. Not for **** or balls!

This wasn't written on a dell.

There's no accent over the "e" in "valet" either. But it's still pronounced "vallay".

"Nike" is a greed goddess. "Nikey" is a footwear brand.

Like "Asus", "Givenchy", "Porsche", "Audi" and many other companies, the pronunciation doesn't necessarily follow normal rules of English. It's a name. So the rules are much more loose (like that awful "Abcde" name trend).

No it's not. Valet with a hard T is an acceptable pronunciation according to the Oxford dictionary. For example one sends ones cars to the valet with a hard T. Not a valet with silent t.

And the brand is named after the goddess.

Brb, going to eyeraq on holiday.

Not seen anything posted here, I'm sure at least a few people here have used Zeek previously.

It was originally a place for people to buy and sell cheaper gift cards, but then they split off into two things;

Zeek.me - this was the continuation of the original Zeek marketplace.
Zeekshop.com - this was where people could top up credit with a slight boost (7%) then buy gift cards for various stores at face value.

I had a bit of credit in Zeekshop from a previous export from Quidco to Zeek credit, luckily it's only £13. Transactions are currently frozen so the money people hold in Zeek wallets are more or less gone I reckon.

There is an article about it here: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/n...r-left-out-of-pocket--here-s-what-you-can-do/

Some people have potentially got Hundreds of £'s in unusable credit.

i have £140 from quidco sat in my Zeekshop account :( most annoying as was going to spend it on my daughters birthday presents!

I used them for Nintendo eShop credit up until they created Zeek Shop and moved all Quidco and Topcashback redemptions to that. Still used the marketplace for Cineworld/Odeon credit after that.

I've just made a note of the details of my last remaining voucher so I can still redeem it if the site goes offline.

I cashed out a few times with them from quidco. I don't think I've got any credit left on my account as I only ever transferred over the amount I needed for a voucher.

I've heard of them before, I think someone here worked for them and used to explain how it worked? Or didn't it now seems...
