I'm suprised there's no recent thread for this - looking back using search there's a few people mentioning that they are looking forward to it but nothing recently.

Anyway , the NTSC version came out 1st of the month but thanks to the Royal Mail strikes my copy only turned up yesterday :(

I've done the first mini-island (fire) and my initial impressions are it's very much "wind waker" on a portable with some of the boring bits such as sailing, tweaked to make them less boring- good graphics and sound everything you'd expect from a zelda title.

Controls are easy too apart from rolling which I still need to practice. Makes use of the mic to solve some bits and drawing the path of the boomerang is quite neat - I assume like other Zelda games I'll come accoss the hookshot and bow in later dungeons.

So has/is anyone else getting this?

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS AN NTSC HANDHELD GAME!

Lol , ok you got me :p
Anyway , the version released in the part of the world where they use NTSC for their TV standard and almost speak english like we do came out 1st of the month but thanks to the Royal Mail strikes my copy only turned up yesterday

Better ?:D

Actually on the subject of no NTSC handheld games what about titles for the new PSP slim with TV output, are they not coded with that in mind ?

Anyway I've just got the 3rd spirit - taking my time on it and playing a couple of hours here and there and yeah having to redo the sea king temple again and again is a bit annoying.

I though I'd read in a review that at some point you get a warp of some kind to half way through it so you don't have to do the 1st floors each time , is that not true.
