Zen Internet (uk) VOIP

GAH!
2 years on, thunderstorm damaged my Fritz!Box (F!B)- even though it was behind a circuit breaker (though nothing else was 'damaged') (surge up the phone line??).

Replacement F!B, from Zen is a F!B 7530 AX.

Set up same as above, except auto address at the ASUS (static at the F!B). F!B gets advertised speeds of 70-80Up, 12Down (according to onboard stats).
ASUS, generally, struggling as low as 1-2Mb on occasion....(ASUS stats and testmynet).

Struggling to understand what to do now - other than try setting the F!B as the mesh controller (but change the F!B instead of the ASUS).

Zen agent suggested ip passthrough on the F!B, but that doesn't appear to work...

Has anyone else managed F!B with ASUS?

@GeoffColl did you manage toi figure it out. I have the same setup as you, with a AX92u mesh network, and my Zen Internet FTTP and DV services are being setup at the beginning of February. Still trying to figure out if I can do without the F!B router!
Thanks in advance.

My solution, after much hair tearing and swearing was, to ditch the ASUS stuff altogether. I added 2 F!B extenders and 2 switchboxes. Rather regrettably but I was really getting nowhere sensible. F!B must have introduced something into the AX version that I was unable to understand in order to get things as they once were.
