Zero dark thirty

This is on Channel 4 at 9pm tonight. Hmm, only a couple of people here who thought it was enjoyable. Rotten tomatoes gives it 93% so I was expecting to see people here raving about it. I'll watch it and see how it goes.

I like it so far, pretty interesting.

Watched the whole thing. Really good movie, but that's because it's factual. Had it been fiction, then I wouldn't have thought much of it.

It is a good film, one of the films of the year (2012) in which it was released. It is not her best work (in my humble opinion) and it is not on the same level as The Hurt Locker (D. K Bigelow, 2012).

However, it is a good film :).

I think it's a great film.

Creates loads of tension as it goes around the block trying to find information about his whereabouts and how they jumped from one person to the next to find it. I would imagine that is more how it is done, finding the sectets people are hiding.
Is it factual? I dunno but I'm not stupid enough to say it's all a fake load of tosh. Those statements are for the silly boys.

All in all, a great film but if you're looking for an all action spy film, look elsewhere.

Without really giving anything anyway, I'm trying to imagine how good it must feel to be bought any lamborghini of my choice, in exchange for just a phone number. :D

I really liked it *shrugs shoulders*

I thought it was all kinds of off the scales boring. I must have fell asleep 4 times watching it. But I wanted to see their take on the end of the film and see how executed the final scene. No pun intened. Then when it eventually got to the end, nearly 2 hours in, half of the end was black screen. Erm... yeah, I didn't like it.

I think it's a great movie, but then I don't have the attention span of an oxygen starved goldfish. Besides, where else would you see Capt. Jack Harkness squeezing into a comically small lift with Tony Soprano?

Oh, and Jessica Chastain is all kinds of hot.

Out of interest, after Bin Laden died, dd it effect the 'War on Terror' in any way?
Has the war been won?

To me it seems that huge sums of money are being spent to wage war in the middle east. And the results are "nil". We can improve the quality of our lives by spending that same money in other areas.

True, but while private lobbying from arms and weapons companies continues, so will the wars. Someone always gets rich from war.
