He destroys that game and really points out something i hadn't realised until he said it.

Some times hes way over the top, but hes sutably angry/depressing to get away with it....

Oh and on the sims hes pretty much right....

He missed that you can unlock upgrades to your sims (eg "steel bladder" - which means you don't have to urinate), so you don't really fall into a dull routine for more than a few days at a time.

Agree about everything else tho esp the fact that it's basically a skeleton game with barely any items.. it actually makes me furious since I imagine they're going to release clones of every sims 2 expansion pack for the sims 3. So evil.

I know he is supposed to be reviewing games but its not like he is serious, I would never buy or not buy a game based on one of his vids, they are just funny. Plenty of serious review sites to find out about bugs

Isnt he quoted to be massivly influenced by brooker, so it'll end up in some weird, synical bumming session with brooker holding all the aces and yatzee doing something perverse with pinecones.....

I realised this day night cycle routine quite quickly and stopped playing as it was sucking my life away. Also it is reallllly apparent they held back content for the expansions, even for things like clothes and furniture =/ no Univeristy, pets etc etc

That's just it, he is serious in regards to game aspects and so on.

I actually base my game purchases around his reviews. If it sounds "ok" then I'll check out the gameplay trailers and then judge my self. But if he slates it completely then i avoid it.

I trust his reviews far far more then any other reviewer website.

With Gameswipe coming along this year, be interesting to see both of their points on a given game/subject.
