Rather than having one created each week, thought we could just have one that everyone can post in every week. This week is Devil May Cry 4, no links as it contravenes forum rules please. Should be easy to find anyway. Must say I didn't find it that funny, until the end, where i proceeded to fall on the floor laughing. BEST ANALOGY OF DMC4 COMBAT EVER!

Did you read my post? Its against forum rules to link to content with swearies. Topics have been deleted in the past (although some have also been left) its best just to keep it on the safe side. Anyone can find it with a quick google anyway :)

Do love this guy have watched all his shows and each one got my laughing.
With google I think its one of the first links if you type zeropunctuation.

He's brilliant, I have to say his early stuff was better than some of his newer stuff, Now he's hit fame, I think he tries too hard in some of his newer stuff, But that said. It's still hilarious.

Personally i think he's getting dangerously close to slating games just for the sake of it. Look at his past two reviews, Drakes Fortune and DMC4, both of which are considered some of the best recent games, yet he claims they're rubbish. I'm glad i don't take what he has to say seriously, or i'd only end up buying 2 games a year.

Agreed. He's a legend in my books but his latest stuff isn't as good. I couldn't even be bothered to get to the end of the DMC review because it was just endless slating. I've never played the games though so I've no idea.

Also getting really annoyed with the sodding ads at the button of the review. I know they can be closed but they just annoy.

surely thats the whole point?..these are not serious reviews..he picks their faults then comes up with amusing anologies for them..its purely picking up on the games inherent faults and running with them to make people laugh

he's like the clarkson of the gaming world

Do enjoy getting home from work and realising it's Wednesday and a new Zero Punctuation review will be waiting for me. Love his hatred of qucik time events :)

I have only seen a few of these, but they do make me laugh. Only really if I have actually played the game though. Although that isn't always the case.

I should make more of an effort to watch them when they are released :)

Whoever came up with the idea of QTE's seriously needs to be shot repeatedly.

QTE, Is that where you have to press a button in time, For the cutscene to act accordingly?

I think they are okay when used correctly. Shenmue, Resident Evil 4 being prime examples.

If QTE doesn't mean that then ignore me :p

Yup. I first encountered them in the superb RPG - Farenheit. It is a good idea but never quite accomplishes anything. The QTE's in the Jericho demo on XBL were awful and stopped me from even playing the demo twice.

Shenmue was the first game to use QTE's afaik, but I'd class God of War as the best example of how a QTE should be done.

The ones in Jericho were absolutely pathetic. They should at least be possible to do on the first attempt.

Remember the guys more of a critic than a reviewer. He will try to pick fault rather than do a non biased review.

Didn't like his Devil May Cry 4 one though. Just wasn't funny.

I loved the Drakes Fortune review when he poped up on camera.

This guy has a lot of potential to move gaming I think. I agree with pretty much everything he says as I am sure others do. Like QTE and how you dont just put them in a game pointlessly. Plus because it's not a text review developers probably take note of him.

Some nice harsh swearing in the DMC4 video though. C word always goes down well with me.

Aye the Jericho ones are pretty terrible, Heavenly Sword has some rather annoying moments too.

It was also used sparingly in CoD3, and it wasn't too bad in that. Jericho's (demo) implementation is the worst I've seen anyway.

It's been so long since I've played God of War that I'd forgotten it was implimented, That is without a doubt the best case of QTE to date. Infact that game, really didn't do much wrong did it
