Zero Punctuation thread

Good episode and for once was funnier still because it actually sums up my niggles with the game.

Its strangely compelling but just doesnt seem like a Burnout game. No crash junctions, much less structure and the same races over and over make it feel a bit meh. Its fun yes, but not really burnout in the way i love.

Lot's of threads I don't bother with on here, Because they don't interest me, I don't go in them all saying, This thread fails. :rolleyes:

I thought it was a bit meh - he picked on a few bits but didn't really get his teeth into it. Seemed to be arguing against it for argument's sake.

His army of two review was :D though

also his videos stopped making fun of the game and started making fun of users instead, gone downhill now for me, i know its a joke, but it was funny when it was a game review rather than a userbase review.

Cool, I forgot about that site so it looks like I will pay a visit again.

I only look at 'reviews' if I have played the games so it will be fun to see the Assasins Creed one now it is on the PC.
 
Some of his recent ones like MW2, Borderlands and L4D2 were amazing lol. And yeah I agree that when you've played / completed the game it's so much funnier but like the Borderlands one, only about 30% of it was about the game lol.

To be honest Uncharted needed criticism. No one dare criticise it generally without being called a fanboy and it has enough flaws but most people don't notice at all just because they like it. Not saying it's bad but it's dumb listening to people talk about it and criticise games for being linear then ignore it in uncharted, criticise games for being short then not in uncharted and others. Not saying it's bad though just not my taste.

Got to say I dislike the guys attitude sometimes though. He's okay on some games but like others said he's always got it out for each game and I find it tedious listening to any JRPG he reviews due to his already disliking stance on them.
 
My only gripe with ZP is Yahtzee's tendency to over state that some games are like other earlier games and are therefore somehow ultimately and inevitably inferior, he's done it less recently (disregarding his massive hard on for God of War).

However all is forgiven when I remember he is one of the few people who shares my opinions on MGS4
