Zigic to Arsenal?

I think the idea isn't so much that we need another striker, just a different type of striker. Someone a bit more physical and looking to get on the end of crosses. Then again, I assumed that was why we bought Adebayor....

Personally I'd still rather we bought a centreback and maybe a centremid. We'll have Aliadiere to replace Bergkamp next season and Walcott to (maybe) replace Pires so other areas of the team remain my priority.

Aliadiere...

I doubt he will replace Bergkamp really. He's been chucked around clubs like West Ham and Celtic where I presume they wanted him to star in their first teams but didn't really get any games.

If he's going to struggle there then Arsenal aren't really going to have a use for him are they? Whenever I have seen him he's looked ridiculously lightweight and out of pace with the game.

From what I've seen of him he won't have a future at Arsenal, but obviously, I haven't seen a huge amount...

Well they gave him a new contract so Arsene must have some plans for him, i think he'll be an almost player. Hes at Wolves now an has started 5 games since january. He needs plenty of games. Lets face it if hes struggling to get into a Championship team what hope is there at Arsenal?

As for Zigic, weve wanted a big lad up front for a few years but not the biggest lad, surely he cant be worse than Crotch. I want to see Henry and V.Persie play next term, thats if henry stays - only time will tell. If we get past Juve you never know and with such a young team around him and his love for the club you would expect him to stay. This is football though and you have to expect the unexpected!

I can't see why we'd need another striker myself, certainly not a lanky Crouch type, even if Henry goes (which he won't ;)). RvP, Adebayor and Reyes (without Henry I think Jose would be the best to play an almost identical role drifting out to the left), with Stokes, Lupoli and Bendtner in the reserves waiting to come through, the latter two of which have been fantastic there (Lupoli has over a goal a game, Bendtner just under). Personally, I think we need one, maybe two wingers depending on Pires, a proper straightforward DM, and a central defender ahead of any more forwards.

Meh. Not too keen on him myself. He's been hampered by injuries somewhat admittedly, but I just don't think he's really good enough for us. He'd be better off getting sold I think, and plying his trade elsewhere, but who knows, maybe he'll prove me wrong.

You also have Allyallyalllyadiere as well, on loan at Wolves and doing quite well

Allyallyalllyadiere has missed far to much football to make it now. His ankles are even worse than Jeffers. He has been very unlucky when it's come to injuries, and I don't see him making at the top level.

He missed a golden chance to win the game for Wolves away at Reading

I was just pointing out you still have him :)

This must be the most hes actually stayed injury free! Hes got more talent than francis though.
