Zombie films

Another vote for Warm Bodies, good music/soundtrack too.

The Cabin in the Woods features zombies, but it's perhaps not a straight-shooting zombie movie. Decent flick though if you haven't caught it yet.

Interesting I'm halfway through the walking dead s2 and I hate zombie land. Resident evil doesn't do it for me.

I'll take a look at battery but the better ones are generally the earlier Romero ones.

Zombie (Lucio Fulci - CLASSIC!)
City of the Living Dead (See above)
The Beyond
Resident Evil movies
La Horde (Can't recommend this one enough)
Braindead (Peter Jackson's classic!!!!!!!!!!)
Re-Animator
Cemetery Man
Tormented
The Crazies (Remake is very good indeed so just stick with that)
Day of the Dead (The original -- you won't get better zombie carnage on-screen anywhere else)
Dead Snow
The Signal
Dead Heat (For that something different -- oh, and Treat Williams AND Vincent Price!)
DeadHeads (Decent zombie rom-com)
Doghouse
Slither
[REC], [REC]2 and [REC]3
Return of the Living Dead
Harold's Going Stiff (Really heartbreaking - not your average zombie flick)
A Little Bit Zombie (Quite funny in places, nice and zany attitude)
Uncle Sam
Undead
Night of the Creeps (ESSENTIAL!!!)
ParaNorman (Hey, Zombies don't always have to be eating people for it to be a great movie)
Pet Sematary (Gage wants to play with yoouuuuuuuu)
Pontypool
Rammbock (Rage-style fast zombies, decent story and good acting if you don't mind subtitles)
The Revenant

... ought to keep you going for a while. :D

Return of the living dead is probably my favourite...

MOAR BRAINZ!!!!!

Also brain dead... that is awesome :D

I'm a much bigger fan of the tongue in cheek films.

Dead Set is fantastic.
Bad taste - another P. Jackson classic.
The zombie diaries (not the Romero one). Low budget but very spooky.
Autumn.

Definitely these, although I have to be in the mood for Braindead but the other three are superb.
Dead Set (written by Charlie Brooker) in particular, is fantastic, I totally forgot about that one. If you have Sky you can watch it for free on the sky store (or could, not long ago).

I don't really like the tongue in cheek ones at all and generally not a fan of handheld camera POV films either but looks like enough to try there. I watched 28 Days Later last night and was disappointed, remembered it being so much better.... :(

Go watch World War Z. I went to see it with a friend who didn't like zombie movies at all but loved it as much as I did. The plot's a bit different and the zombies are a lot cooler in my opinion. They're similar to the zombies in I am Legend.

Evil Dead series. Evil Dead 2 is a remake of the original and is better. Then watch 3 which is a continuation. Ignore the recent remake which is horrid.

Zombi
I think it's called Zombie Flesh Eaters in the UK.
The proper uncut version is a classic, the opening US harbor ,the underwater shark and the "eyeball scene".
Great film with many memorable visuals.
That's my top zombie film ever
