Zombie Panic Source

So I want to play Zombie Panic Source, because I remember playing it ages and it was really fun. Thing is, I need to have a Source SDK game on steam to download and play it.

I'm having a hard time deciding whether to buy Left 4 Dead 2 or Counter Strike Source to fulfill this requirement (does l4d2 fulfill the requirement to download ZPS?).

So:

1. What Source game should I get so I can download ZPS
2. Is ZPS still played a lot?

Probably Left 4 Dead 2 if you like shooting zombies/the undead.

Counter Strike Source if you fancy a change every once in a while?

CSS. So many quality custom games. Deathruns, zombie escapes, gun games, and of course amazing regular gameplay.

I would normally have not bothered to ask and just got L4D2, but I hear CS:S had a new update recently that gives it a stat tracker/achievements or sommat.

Yes. I've literally had 5 hour sessions sitting playing it. Incredibly fun.

Zombie panic is a great game, but only when you have a bunch of friends/people who know what to do.

But brainbread was more fun

What?? It's €30 here. :eek:

Also yea ZPS is a great mod. Personally if you're gonna get a source game get TF2 or the orange pack if it really is just £3. So many great games in it. It's still worth €30 if the above is wrong.

Got one reply pretty much saying it was xxxx, lol

Personally I love it, much better than most of your current paid games today IMO.

Although you do need to get on the right server, because there are quite a few servers with annoying kids/noobs etc.

Also another good zombie steam mod is zombie master.
