1070 is in stock, few hundred of them. 1080 more due end of next week.

so the gpu speed of my 1070 amp extreme is 1949 mhz and the mem clock is 4104 mhz on default. does the mem clock double to 8208 then? and are them speeds good as a default setting? im new to all the overclocking so not too sure.

Set fans to 100%, power target to maximum and try +50, +100 on core, see if it can do over 2GHz on core.

Super impressive Zotac Extreme seems to be the best card then in all regards, quietest, coolest, fastest out the box and a great overclocker.

22 idle - do you live in a fridge!? I thought the extreme cards were supposed to have the fans off at idle..but even with them on, your room must be cold!

Haha no it's a normal temp my room. I think the fan on the zotac is amazing to be fair. My i5 4690k is 24 idle now. When I had my r9 390 it was 38 idle.

Good news. Was hoping to get something that was just as cool and quiet as my 980 gaming x but without paying the premium of the 1070 gaming x.
Nope, estimate is still 1-2 weeks away, but i'm quietly confident it will come earlier! Other stores seem to have got stock of the amp extreme today as well.
