Hi Guys

We have the new FK mouse from Zowie due in a few weeks but until that time we have the previous model which is still our best seller at an even lower price point.

This is a clearance deal and once they are gone, we wont have any more. The new model will not be anywhere near this price point!

Grab arguably the best gaming mouse on the market right now for a bargain price.

The FK is similar to the AM in terms of specifications and features, and they are both ambidextrous mice developed for gamers who prefer a claw-grip play style, but that is where the similarities end.

The design of the FK has changed slightly compared to the AM, amongst other minor adjustments, the height is lower. The adjustments to the overall design have been made to make the FK lighter and faster. We hope that the design makes it more comfortable to use, not only for gamers who prefer the claw-grip, but also for gamers with smaller hands who prefer to palm-grip their mouse.

Furthermore the FK features a new coating, which feels smooth and fine like regular rubber paint, but has increased resistance towards wear and tear. The coating helps increase grip for gamers with tendency to sweaty palms and it is easy to clean!

I recently had the new 2014 model and from the little time that I had testing it, I thought that it was a cracking mouse! The sensor in this really is the best you can get. The only thing that bugged me a little was that I kept pressing the side buttons by accident (could easily have adjusted my grip to combat this though, but only had about 10-15mins test).

Great little mouse, recommended it to a friend of mine that is a hardcore quake 3, unreal 2004 player and hes had no issues with it.

quite dissimilar in honesty. the G500s from my experience fits a different hand shape to the Zowie.

i am not a massive fan of the FK, the EC2 EVO fits my hand a lot better but i have larger hands. this may be a similar story for someone comfortable with the G500s

the FK feels a little smaller and the rear of the mouse is a little lower from my point of view

The FK is more suited for a claw grip style but can be palmed with small-medium sized hands. I found the back end a little on the long side personally (even for a claw gripper like myself). Saying that, I only had about half hour, if that of testing the FK14 (which is the same shape but just the newer revision as the one above). I'm so use to using a Logitech Mx300 (for over 10 years), but given time I'm sure I could have adjusted. I also found the side buttons got in the way a fair bit, again this would be because of not having enough time to adjust to the shape properly, coming from a very old Mx300.

The sensor on this mouse is really good though.

I highly recommend the sharkoon fireglider black over this as it is braided, similar but more ergonomic shape, 3rd button etc, better rubber grip and it looks very nice too with a good brand behind it.. obviously i dont think ocuk stock them though... yet

I think you missed the point of the FK :P

The fireglider's ergonomic shape is similiar to the Zowie AM or Razer Deathadder, etc. the FK purposely is built to taper the other way for a slightly different type of grip.

Braided cables are like marmite some people love em some hate em.

Though these Zowies look a little cheap the actual build quality is top notch and doesn't feel cheap (if a little unsubstantial - but again the FK is designed to be an light mouse) to hold.

Generally in gaming the 6010 sensor on the fireglider is considered less desireable than the 3090 on the FK (aslong as the 3090 has an upto date firmware with certain features disabled/tweaked for gaming) though depends a bit on preference for laser or LED sensor.

EDIT: Also FK tends to be choosen by people who don't make use of the extra buttons - the fireglider is an excellent mouse but targetted towards a very different audience to those who would consider the FK.
