What really sucks is, as a Liverpool fan, you just start to get your hopes up that you might be able to sneak 4th if the stars align, and then you read that Arsenal are about to sign Ozil.

Too many good teams in this league.

Demichelis is a good signing for City. Woudn't expect him to be first choice, but he's a reliable, experienced defender for when Kompany is injured. And his wages (if accurate) are pocket change to them.

IF Real are in for Suarez then say you want Ozil and £10 million. Would be a great replacement for Gerrard.

Box to box midfielder vs technically brilliant but not exactly athletic CAM.

He'd complement Coutinho beautifully though.

Chelsea have signed Atsu. Clearly with him and Schurrle Mourinho has been playing too much Ultimate Team. Just needs Esswein, Welliton and Muriel now for a sickening pace team.

Yea, what Arsenal have been lacking is a small, tricky, creative midfield player. He'll transform them.
Follow Tancredi Palmeri on twitter, he gets all the european news and announces it so fast.

Without twitter this guy wouldn't have a career. He's like cm - reports random stories as if they're fact.

If Ozil is for sale and we let Arsenal sign him/out bid us I'm gonna be mad.

We desperately need more world class players like Ozil.

Wouldn't call him world class, i think the £40 million being rumoured is double what the guy is worth. Modric has him benched and cost less that that. He wouldn't get into a lot of the top teams in the world imo. Good player not great.

He's a creative midfielder... he's got 80+ assists over the last three seasons. That's the most in Europe, out of anyone. Not sure what else counts as world class.

He's exactly what United need, someone who actually does something with the ball instead of dithering on it like we saw today.
