Love the shades of Blue we are seeing lately, here and the GR86 for example
It was really nice, black wheels would have to go though. A nice set of silver or dark grey Regamasters would be perfect.

It is, I personally feel the black wheel trend had it's time about 10-15 years agoYou can't even spec silver wheels when new, same as the FK8 I believe which is a massive shame.
Yup, they need to go in room 101. Unfortunately most manufacturers seem to force it these days.It is, I personally feel the black wheel trend had it's time about 10-15 years ago
I could be wrong, but for a facelift that doesn't have the correct rear bumper on, it should have a black strip across it (which is my main gripe with the FL). It could be a Mugen bumper, or a Mugen style.Still can't tell if I prefer the newer or older DC5 look
This one looks ok, miles creeping up a bit high but saying that, they are all around that point

Good point, I keep seeing a lot of hate for the black stripI could be wrong, but for a facelift that doesn't have the correct rear bumper on, it should have a black strip across it (which is my main gripe with the FL). It could be a Mugen bumper, or a Mugen style.
The fixed rear axle doesn't bother me too much as I don't really drive cars super hard or on track.
20k is crazy money for a a 20+ year old DC5!Certainly a high price for one of these but its so clean
It is. I guess sellers are thinking they are entering collectable territory or something20k is crazy money for a a 20+ year old DC5!

It's a ~decade newer, a better car for not much more than the eBay linked example. Just goes to show that DC5 prices are far too strong IMO.Its definitely up there!
I was refering to the DC5 price being too high, totally agree on thatIt's a ~decade newer, a better car for not much more than the eBay linked example. Just goes to show that DC5 prices are far too strong IMO.
Bugger me that's expensive, I love JDM, so wished I kept in the game, but house then kids stopped it, but christ a life I can't see how the current prices warrant what they areWhat a beauty!

This was one of the changes they did from the fk2 to fk8 I believe? Well appreciate the information and it will be something I'll keep in mind.A relatively flat smooth track with the car at the limits of tyre adhesion is where the difference is less obvious; on road manners, comfort and NVH are all much better with the multi-link. Road use is where the attributes shine so why wouldnt that bother you too much?
That is a gorgeous looking car! This FD2 looks nice but strong money, and makes that DC5 look even more overpriced.
