They’ve got the wrong. It’s not a QDOLED panel, it’s the same LG Display WOLED panel as the LG and Asus models. Nope, can't see anything coming out of the blue for a while yet.
With only a couple OLED panel manufacturers, you are at their whim as to when you'll get a panel in a size and resolution you desire.
Also because its a growing market, manufacturers focus on the most popular resolutions and sizes first, so if your preferred setup is one which is not common it may still be a couple years away from having an option for you to buy

Thinking of upgrading my 34" Alienware to a 32".... going to need a 4090 or 5000 series to go with it though

Gonna be the same for a fair while yet! Poss til year-end imo, lots of demand still....All these new monitors and no stock anywhere (only the Dell is available) and it's been like that for months now. I'm tired of searching
