The lack of vertical really is the worst thing about 34in Ultrawides,the 38 def fixes this so the upcoming 39" 39GS95QE OLED LG one should be pretty awesomesorry was actually thinking on bigger than 34” oleds. Don’t like the vertical size of 34s

Yes, that won't bother me though as it'll roughly have the PPI of my current PG42UQ and that is fine.
Don't worry it won't be that cheap as ii most likely cost $1600+ by the time it get released

Yikes, why gaming monitors lagging so far behind TVs LG should lean into the gaming series a bit more
Guessing this boils down to a lot more people buy a £1500 OLED TV compared to a £1500 OLED gaming monitor

I'm confused with these monitors.
They're only coming with DP1.4a (HDMI2.1), which as standard only go up to around 4k@120hz (144hz with DSC).
Does this mean that you can't actually game at 4K 240hz with them anyway? You only get to use 4k120hz OR a lower resolution up to 240hz?
I can imagine that a whole bunch of people are going to be disappointed with how these are being touted else!
Additionally, there's no NV cards that output DP2.0 at the moment anyway, only AMD ones.... so if I understand correctly again, there's going to be even more people feeling sore if they get these monitors!

WOLED just doesn't seem to have the colour coverage of QD it seems, esp this gen. Give me a semi-gloss highly vibrant screen any day!!
I'll end up buying both at this rate
I suspect that competitor might have an exclusive for a defined period of time. Hope OCUK will stock it - I'll wait for the price to come down to ~£1k.
