Shame to see it happen and I feel for the guys in the GT Academy. At least they've had a taste of Le Mans I suppose.

It's ok because they'll be back in a year or twos time with a revolutionary 5 wheeled, 3 engined brocolli powered concept that will definitely work and will change the face of motorsport.

Tbh it was never going to work, Nissan were never going to get near the big 3.

Shame it wasn't a decent effort though, bit racing at works level , your either massively committed or embarrassing.

They built a pile of rubbish that was a total failure and backed themselves into a point of no return. The classic you can't polish a **** situation. Shut it down, take some time and come back with something special.

The GT Academy drivers still run at Le Mans in other Prototypes or at least Lucas Ordóñez did.

True. They'll probably find a way of getting some into a position to drive a Nissan engined LMP2.
