So United are 3 points off City and we are all talking about whether EtH should be sacked... Pep out?

The league is pretty good this year, aside from the odd result, every game is difficult. We've had a fairly favourable run though...

Should have scored 4 or 5 really. Good performance but have to take our chances. Thought Amrabat was really good tonight bar that early error. Probably his best game for us.

We have already played Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham all away already with Liverpool next week and only 5 points off third. I wouldn't call that favourable.

Let's see how things look at the end of the month. If we can somehow qualify for the CL knockout round, and the Ratcliffe deal is announced, things could be looking a lot brighter... assuming performances remain good.

If we struggle against Bournemouth, then lose to Bayern and Liverpool, we'll be back in crisis mode.

Wondered why klopp was a bit pissy on the post match interview with amazon, watched it back and it's because the presenter was being a bit of an arse, especially about yet another 12:30 kick off for us at the weekend.

Doesn’t Liverpool have a say on the 12:30 kick off? As in in that they agreed to play at that slot for more TV money?

If so…..shouldn’t he be annoyed at his own club for signing up for it?
The League sells the rights but the broadcasters pick who plays in which slots, not the clubs if that's what you're asking. Some clubs (presumably the sides playing in Europe as they're most effected) have pushed for more restrictions on who can be picked in that slot and now sides playing away in Europe on the Wednesday (and of course the Thursday) cannot be picked for the early Saturday kick-off. It doesn't apply to domestic Wednesday games nor is there anything following international breaks, where Liverpool have been picked for the early kick off over 50% of the time since Klopp's been manager.

With Manu and Newcastle leading the way with injuries so far this season if both clubs can make it to January within touching distance. Get a few Key players back and maybe one or decent transfers. The end of the season could be epic. Especially if the 5th spot for Champions league hasn’t been ****** up. Hah

I really don’t like to blame injuries as I feel it’s an easy out but have pointed it out a few times. When you see Newcastles list it’s staggering.

List not available for tonight
Gk-Pope
DEF- Manquio-Burn-Botman-Target
MF- Longstaff-Sandro-Willock-Anderson
FW - Wilson -Barnes - Murphy

Only one player on that list that wouldn’t heavily be involved in rotation and that’s Manny.

Chelsea are crap but that was at least an improvement for United. Pochettino has bigger problems than ten Hag it seems.
Amrabat much better in second half but really we need to be far more clinical. Relying on McSauce for winning goals is not a sustainable plan!
Hopefully things will click for Hojlund soon. He's doing a lot of good work, making good runs into good positions and holding the ball up well, just missing out on the end product by narrow margins.

Garnacho good. Slabhead excellent again, even coming forward again late in the game, but that's partly down to Chelsea being absolute trash and basically rolling out a red carpet in midfield.

Fernandes showing a captains performance again, busting his ass all over the pitch. He has an unreal engine.

Amrabat McSauce and Fernandes looked quite good, but again, Chelsea were so pants it's hard to draw conclusions.

Is this you?
Can't keep blaming injuries.
