Before FTTC was installed my max down load was 1.7 as we are the last DP on the exchange in a small village.
However they installed the FTTC cab 50 meters from our door.... which was nice....

Does this speedtest look in keeping with getting 400kb/s on steam downloads? I thought it would be lower than this to be honest.

Fibre finally became available in the village on Friday so an engineer will be round to install on the 13th! Just hope it lives up to my expectations as it's certainly been a long wait!

That speed test is bang on for 400 KB/s

I waited for an age for FTTC to finally come to our leafy hollow... Now get 9 MB/s on steam from my 74 Mbps....

Village life became a lot less boring...
