PS5 advice, exclusives

I've never noticed an issue with my controllers battery tbh.
Then again I don't like haptics so they're switched off, the light is on dim, the microphone is off and it rests in a caddy when I'm not using it.

Never had problems with the battery on my day 1 pad, or the backup I bought, only issues are stick drift

I'd never noticed that on my PS4 controller until I picked up a FIFA game. I certainly gave it more hammering than in my normal RPG/adventure types that I generally lean towards.
I wonder if it's exacerbated by the type of game that's played?
Yes, id imagine racing games or truck sim games to be high due to constant acceleration button being held down
Anything with high apm will be worse or big vibrations

Ah, yeah the vibrations. Didn't think of that as I switch haptics off, could have a big impact.

Ps5 also has constant updates on its individual games and also the os as well. Most of the games you listed are either out on pc or coming out soon.Hi,
So I got a high end PC gaming PC (5900x/7900xtx) but as I get older pc gaming is less appealing,
very tempted by a PS5 as there a bunch of exclusives i want to play.
- constant windows updates
- constant driver updates
- constant waiting for shaders to build
my wife already has a xbox series X
but i really want to play
any thoughts and advice, looks like the slim is better console now?

if exclusives are coming to PC ill probably buy them again
we be playing either on my LG oled 27" at 1440p or my ultrawide 1440p ( i know ill have blackbars)
