Might be better to do it manually in some paint type program with random overlaps to avoid having long vertical and horizontal joins. Also doing manually allows you to select the overlaps where they will be least visible on the picture.

I did this with a large group portrait using PSP. The final picture was about 2m x 0.7m and made up of about 30 sheets of A4.

just do a google search for evil money on google, and in advanced select only large images. You should get some good quality ones around the bottom of the page. (avoid the top results. My eyes wont be the same)

Ive just rasterbated a 4x4 one of that picture, full colour, 1mm dots.
