Selby looking like getting back to 5-8 at the mid-session interval. Wouldn't be surprised if he wins now TBH, but would prefer if he didn't.

Well this is going a bit ghastly. Spaceman getting truly trounced.
Both matches this morning were pretty high quality (other match Ding against Jack), flicking between them Dale missed effectively frame ball red with the rest in something like the eighth frame. Lost despite scoring 70 points.

Almost certainly Kyren's best match session this season, Dom needs to up his all-round game to simply get a "more respectable scoreline."

But he's done great to qualify aged ~52, had a good run at the Welsh Open too.

Can't believe Williams threw it away on that red to middle when an easy safety was on. Oh well. Si did well after that psychological onslaught.
Yeah, tricky red Mark took on, he must have seen it as his decider "just one chance."

Another seed hits the dust, crazy after Mark beating 1/2/3 in last tournament to win!

How did Melkins make it to the second round? Things can only get better, so out of sorts most of that match!

No issues for Kyren finishing things off against Dom, a 50/50 first frame and then a maximum attempt to wrap things up.

Great battle between Ding and Jack that went to decider, with a very solid final frame from the latter.

Hopefully Jackson gets to make another few good breaks before Ronnie hits the finishing line in their second session.
