i get about 280 miles to a £48 fill up, so £94. my workday drive consists of an up-and-down-the-box country blat followed by sitting in some traffic, two sets of conditions near guaranteed to weaken economy. the only m-way trips i do are done at 90 as well. so in conclusion - i could probably do better.

I have had 41mpg with a few stops before and small amount of town driving.

Of course this is going to the extreem but it prob could be done.

I got 62mpg the other week driving at 55-60mph over 100 miles. That's 8.87 gallons or 40.32 litres. At £1.10/litre that's £44.35.

2007 Audi A6 TDI with room for 5 and a huge boot.

Sad and pointless but still quite impressive IMO
