These small engined cars are rubbish :p

lol, aye true it is quite poor but then again the carbs on mine (Pierburg 1B3) is shockinly bad.

So I think on a 58k engine I could see 40MPG with a new twin carb webber.

And anyway, 800kg > 1.4 or whatever tons of ** boat :p

almost nothing if I coast down a straight slope for 550miles ;)

On a serious note it ll probably cost around £80 for 550miles if its mostly motorway

i get about 280 miles to a £48 fill up, so £94. my workday drive consists of an up-and-down-the-box country blat followed by sitting in some traffic, two sets of conditions near guaranteed to weaken economy. the only m-way trips i do are done at 90 as well. so in conclusion - i could probably do better.

About £70 in petrol but that isnt the actual cost as youve got to factor in the wear and tear of the car, tax, insurance ect.
Ohh also if its all done in one trip dont forget 2 stops at services for food at £15 and 1 stop at McDonald's £3.89 :)

Take sandwiches from home then ;)

Who buys stuff from service stations with their own money anyway?

47 € bout erm 33 quid.

1.6 rolla :p.

Driving on petrol, 60-65 quid depending on what speed.

I got 62mpg the other week driving at 55-60mph over 100 miles. That's 8.87 gallons or 40.32 litres. At £1.10/litre that's £44.35.

2007 Audi A6 TDI with room for 5 and a huge boot.

Sad and pointless but still quite impressive IMO :).
