Begbie -------- 97.5 / 140/ 160----- [85] ----- 397.5

Gutted, I so thought the 170 was coming up but it refused! Only managed a few inches off the ground, the 160 felt pretty easy too :/

Somewhere in the middle.
Im similar when it comes to my deadlift begbie. There is just a point that seems out of reach.

In March I lifted 200kg but then I stopped shortly after as I was having some hip issues. I recently brought deadlifts back a few weeks ago and although Ive got to 190 again the jump between that and 200 seems massive.

when going for a 1rm I tend to make bigger "jumps" to avoid fatigue.
For example, if going for 170 I'd do:
60x8
100x8
120x3
140x1
170x1

Warm enough to not injure yourself but still with full energy.
I pulled 200 on Monday as well. Haven't deadlifted over 180 in ages, my max is 220 but this 200 went straight up with very good form (unlike my back arching 220 from a year ago)

Let's do this.

I've challenged my coach to a doubling of my lifts in a year, as of September, so I'll at least give you somebody to laugh at on your way. :D

what were your lifts in september?

i am setting myself the target of staying sub 77kg and adding to all of my lifts, i dont want to post up my targets but i have told a couple of guys and they think they are achiveable, maybe even suppassable before next year is out.

If i can hit my targets then i could be top 25 as the table sits now. We shall see.
