so the mini version is much better? will it fit onto a kanger EVOD battery?

The BVC coils can be used in the full size Nautilus too, but the mini comes with them out of the box if I remember correctly.

I have no experience of the Kanger EVOD, sorry. I am sure someone will know though. :)

Iv just noticed the OP link to here http://www.cig-eliquid.co.uk/

It has my Beloved RY4 flavour! May I ask you guys, cause iv never mixed my own eliquid before, what would I need from that website to make RY4 @ 50/50pg 6mg nic ? and how much would it make and how much would it cost? I don't know what the procedure is to mixing it etc so don't know what I would need

Thanks :)

Ejuice Me Up is worth downloading mate, it is a calculator for DIY juice mixing. :)

You will need PG and VG (both USP/Pharma grade), Nicotine concentrate, Flavour concentrate, syringes, bottles and gloves.

For cost it depends on how much you can get the requisite items for and how much nicotine you use as that is the most expensive element. ;)

Edit: I had a good experience with the Vapers Emporium for buying nicotine.

Ooo that's quite handy tool that. cheers! From my calculations though im no expert, it would turn out to cost roughly 40p per 10ml if I mixed it my self.
My current pay is £1 per 10ml, but iv found a website that sells it in upto 10litre barrels haha and there it costs 50p per 10ml for 500ml, or 45p per 10ml for 1 litre or 35p per 10ml for 5 litre.

So I think ill just get it from that website rather than faffing around mixing my self :p Although iv not tried it from there yet but Iv ordered a 100ml bottle to try which worked out at 9 quid which is 90p per 10ml, if its tasty like what I use now, ill just buy bulk from there and save my self a lot of money :)

Its a great tool, and you can save the recipes you come up with in it to for convenience. :)

On another note, I just upgraded the IPV3 firmware. I now goes to 165w (don't care about that) but now has 2 decimal places for ohms and voltage which is pretty nice. :D

Sorry Zefan and all, totally missed his post about this thread. I would have started a new one, but just bad timing, been really busy all week. :(

Nice one Rick for doing it, Though there are a couple of links not working in the OP. The shorted ones with three dots in. :)

I must be honest I just copied the OP from the first thread and didn't check any of the links! :o

I just wanted to do it quick before the Dons lost patients.

Awesome, that would be great! :D

I amended the stealthvape link and added steam engine for the coil calculator as previous links were down. :)

Also added Redz links, thanks buddy. :)

I don't think there's much use adding recommended kits or what have you at the mo, things move so fast what's good now could be average in a few months.

So I've just put a load of links together.... nothing crazy, but the amount of times I've posted them on the older thread, they may as well be in the OP! :D

Very true, the vape market moves at a faster pace than PC's and mobile phones!

That would be appreciated, anything that helps folks find what they are looking for or gain information on the subject its more than welcome. :)

Just getting into this hobby/habit now, 9 days off the rollies. Initally wasn't a massive fan, really missed the satisfaction but after moving off a 6mg liquid on to 12mg and using a dual coil EVOD it's definitely ticking boxes.

Have just ordered a CLK 1280 to add to the couple of Glass EVODs I've already got. I do love the "Trigger's broom" esque nature of vaping gear. :D

I've got my eye on an MVP2 and some kind of rebuildable tank setup, but I'm going to ease off the purchases for a while and check that this isn't just a quitting smoking flash in the pan.

The last point in mind, it is probably the easiest way I've found to stop hitting the old smokes. Sure it's nicotine replacement, as are patches/gum/inhalinators etc but this ticks all the boxes and is a hobby in it's own right.

9 days off tobacco is a superb start! :) I really hope you can go the distance and never touch an 'analogue' cigarette again. Vaping is far more effective than any other product in my opinion.

If you do decide to upgrade or have questions there will always be some one here to help you out or point you in the right direction.:)

Best of luck to you! :D

Well done guys :)

Does anyone know how to go about testing batteries?
I have a couple of VTC5's and they seem to match up visually with pics of genuine stuff, but since the market is awash with fakes, I'd like to make sure if possible.

They don't get warm or anything and they do the job. It's just... Y'know?

I think to test them properly requires specialist equipment. Where did you get them from Pete?

I know that on a lot of fakes the QR code thing is very dark an pronounced and on the authentic it has a much lighter, almost faded appearance.

Cheers all, kind words are appreciated. :)

I think I've passed the point of return with this now, I've got to the point of "this satisfies a craving, means I don't smell, and I get to tinker about with stuff and things" so I'm pretty happy with it all. Even managed a heavy night out on the beer on Saturday night. Drained the battery and made a good dent on another but made it through.

So... Terry Tibbs time... tanks. Talk to me. :D

Yeah, it is a bit suspect.
I just read that article too and mine look like the Ecolux ones fwiw. The top and bottom ends anyway.

ED: If anything, they may drain a little quicker than I might expect. I have no frame of reference though.
