Now Macrium reflect removed their free version I had the forsight to save the free version 8, give me a shout if you need it, no doubt it is available on some sites but its there if you need it.
I saved the exe of the free version too before they removed it, I still use it to clone the OS SSD to a new SSD upgrade etc.I've uploaded it to Google Drive for anyone looking for it still:

Name: Macrium Reflect v8.0.7279_reflect_setup_free_x64.exe.zip Size: 160306485 bytes (152 MiB) SHA1: 70d426af9cc2431371ebf52cec0c0c835648d908

Edit* LInk fixed.

Thanks both of you for having uploaded this ! I had the version 7 saved, so this be better. Just curious though, are you both still using the Macrium Reflect version regularly to creat backups of your OS, and is it still being updated after the removed the free version ? Or would you recommend any other similar software ?

For Windows imaging backups I use the Windows Backup & restore System Image creator. It's a 2-3 click affair and creates a VHD image which you can restore from Windows recovery mode or can browse like any folder if already in Windows etc.

All synchronised backups are done via FreeFileSync though..

So OS drive imaging = Windows System Image Creator
Everything else = FreeileSync.

Personally only use Reflect for OS drive cloning as it does it well and is free.

Nanazip, base don 7-zip, but supports native WIndows 11 context menus and other stuff. Is available on MS Store so auto updates too. I've not switched to it over 7-Zip/WinRAR etc.

Just discovered this earlier - Great screen recording software that outputs animated gifs (for those of us still on Windows 10 and can't use the newer snipping tool that I believe does video)
