I don't think there is a lower age limit for consumption of alcohol although parents could probably be prosecuted for abuse or similar if feeding children excessive quantities. :)

Don't try to bring logic into this, you know it has no place here. ;)

I don't mind occasional misspelt words, everyone can make errors or have a mental block about the correct word but in some cases it must take more effort to spell it incorrectly. I worry about the phonetic approach that some people take to spelling - "whatever" becoming "whateva" or the like, it isn't hard so just spell it right.
 
I do agree it's not difficult to complete a word and when people genuinely struggle to spell that's fine, but there's no need to be as bothered by it and some people are appearing to be.

What I noticed is it took me much longer to type that than it would normally and gramatically correct. >.>

I think it is a bit unfair to blame the education system.
I'm reasonably certain English language lessons still instruct one on the art of both written and spoken English.

It is more to do with "social interaction" and "peer groups" I feel.

I'm just waiting till its on the news "5 kids failed their gcse's in loserham today for writing in txtspeak" - I will find it both extremely amusing, and yet depressing at the same time - just had another thought, their scum parents'd be on the telly going "its not fair" and being outraged n stuff... stupid people amuse me for the stupid stuff they do, but also annoy me when they go "oh i didnt know its not fair this that blah" and their attitude of everything being given to them, and them thinking they're as good as me, which nobody can be as I R T3H GENIUS Y0 buzzin yo yo wst-side innit innit innit, joker lts gt sum stelas n drnk til we r sck innit, innit, joker.

This is exactly why my MSN is only available to work colleagues and a couple of close friends. I've had MSN messenger addresses in the past, with a list full of mugs.

Take a look at most chav infested social networking sites and you'll see the same thing.
 
Thing is, what do you expect?

Two completely sober kids dressed like posh ******* writing in correct grammar and english?
Where have you been? get back in touch with reality mate its having a laugh and it's sod all to do with education, their choice in the end.
