The ASBO has landed!

The brakes are more than fine, thats with a bluefin chip on as well, they do take some getting used to as its either on or off.

Nice car mate.

The stereo in the 05/06 models was better, looked a lot nicer.Be carefull with the rims tho, they seem to attract kerbs.

Why did you go for a 5 door? 3 door is so much better :D

That is awesome! Congrats Adam

One thing I'll never understand though... is why car manufacturers put silly bits of plastic to cover the engine :( I don't want to see a nice bit of plastic, I want to see oil, pulleys and great big turbos! lol

I really like the 4 doors! I didnt think i would at 1st (always preferred 2 doors) but the 4 doors really suit the car!!

Nice one!

OK maybe i worded it wrong.. what i ment to say is.. for about 17grand id buy something that looks the part this focus, to the untrained eye is just another focus with a little bit extra on the looks side

I think this is the first Ford that i have ever seen and actually really liked, and appreciated. Congrats on the purchase, bet its a hoot :)

M3 = 3-Series with big wheels and zorst

M5 = 5-Series with big wheels and zorst

Clio Trophy = Clio with graphics

vRS Skodas = its a skoda LOL

If people and manufacturers were remotely concerned with the perceptions of the great unwashed then the above performance heros would never have existed - have a  from me :p

Test drove one last weekend, while its a very fun drive it suffers in my eyes on 2 counts.

Its a ford so it depreciates like a brick out of a window.
As said its a Focus at the end of the day and it looks like a focus.

Its great to drive, better than the Civic Type R IMO (as much as you can get with a scared sales man next to you) but it just never screamed buy me.

I'm now going to ruin my (limited as a non-motors regular) credibility by saying i like the C30 T5 more. It shares the engine and drive train with the ST3 but i like the styling and look more. Drive wise yeah the st3 was more "lively" but the c30 was a good and looks better in and out and isnt as "everyday" on the road.

Biggest problem is justifying £23.5K on a C30 over £19.5k on a ST3 (easy £15k for a 6/12 month old one).
