According to this forum, everything you care to mention has a chavvy image these days. It's as if people have lost sight of what a chav is so brand everything chav. I bet somebody would try and say Ferrari have a chavvy image given half a chance.
I must see perhaps 1 genuine Alpina car every month or two, even if you live in London they are not on every street corner becuase they are all very limited production run. How can you see enough to form an opinion that they are for chavs? A large number of them are also very plain looking (Like I said, SE based, NOT Sport) large saloons and estate cars.
