Couple of a mates 306...

I love 306's, only ever had a 1.9D thought, which was a lovely car.

That one though gets less of the love, it's unfourtunatly in 'nonce blue', but then you can't always pick the colours you want (I wanted black...got metallic blueish colour). The alloys are chav to me, as for the lights and the stickers. I do agree with Phil though, silver drums look stupid, black will blend in more with the colour of the underside of the car.

Personally I'd slap some Pug 205 1.9 alloys on there, they make a 306 look so much better...

^ Yep, those wheels are great (but I'm biased as i have them on my 205). They're missing thier centre caps things tho - they would look better without the holes between the stud holes. :)

Yeah, I did get some caps after that. :p

Oh, and I don't have the 306 anymore...have a 1.4 205. :D No alloys on it though :(

205 alloys on a 306 is just wrong. It also looks so very, very wrong.

See I can't see it looking wrong, and it's not all that different from the plastic hubcaps that pug shipped on a lot of p2 306's. hey shipped them with stupid 205 imitation hubcaps, atleast mine had real alloys on it.
Plus it made the car handle so much better than before (and after as I put the steelies back on).

I admit, yes they look better on the 205 1.9, but they were spare and I had a car that they could go on.

Anyways, I've dragged way OT.

I don't know, I think I'm just one of those people that think 205 wheels should only ever be used on 205s. I just seem to look at that and think ''It'll never be a 205''.

Aye, in that respect I agree, but I didn't do it for it to look like a 205. I have a 205 now, but it isn't a GTi, so I will not be sticking GTi alloys on it (well maybe the 1.6 ones if I find some cheap/free). As I know my car is not a GTi and don't want to pretend it is.
I do however like the fact the 1.4 205 easily out performs the 1.9D 306. - Me and my bro played a bit a while back...me in the 205, him in the 306 and he drives like his bum is on fire! :D

Now I've really derailed the thread. :d

I've seen 205 GTi (1.9) alloys on a 106 GTi and they looked awesome.

Heheh, I have to admit, I do just love the 1.9 alloys for the 205 anyways, ideally they should be on a 205 GTi, but on any small/older pug they don't look out of place. Tried to fit some to my Ren5 when I had it...different spacing :(.

Whats the point in replying with pointless dribble? You say the same in every thread (well, starting to anyway). I get the point so theres no need to persist with it :)

Everyone saying "nice car" would also be "pointless dribble".

Lose the rear window text, paint the drums black and raise the suspension an 20-30mm and it would be better. Apart from that it looks in good condition paint/bodywork wise.
