1) more prison space, prisons cells would be small concrete cells. No privileges to anyone. Food would be bland but nutritionally balanced. Inmates would either have to do education, so they have a chance of a job once released or a useful job. If no useful job, then boring demeaning hard labour. Shovel that 20 tons of hardcore from that end of the compound to the other. Once finished shift it back again. This would be combined with a re-think of sentencing length. Small crimes would be a few weeks. Some murderers/paedophiles, that are unlikely to ever change there views, would be life without parole(ie until dead).
2) There would be a three strike system for criminals (ie shop lifting, public offences, troublemakers). On the third strike you go to prison.
3) Parents would get free lessons on parenting techniques. Before and after after birth.
4) parents would be held more responsible for there kids action below the age of (probably subject to research) 12-14ish. After that I think it's unlikely parents could regain control. More power would be given to judges to force parents into good parenting techniques, with help from social service workers. Parents who then fail to acide by these, the kids would then be taken away.
5) A re-think of benefits. Any able bodied person would only get 3months to find another job. people should get anything, even if it's a supermarket job. They shouldn't need benefits for more than a few weeks. If people are disabled, then we wont force them to work, it doesn't help them or the company. what's the point in forcing them to work, then paying someone from the council to do there job for them. Any one caught benefit cheating, would not ab aloud to claim any benefits again ever.

7) all people to get *optional* Id, the same as a driving license, to prove age. However you would have to apply for one if you want to buy alcohol.
8) regular drunk trouble makers, as well as being subject to the three strike rule. Would be banned from purchasing alcohol. This would be shown on there ID.
9) removal of all laws/taxes etc that don't achieve there aims. Ie gun control.
10) Full devolution of Scotland, wales, Ireland. what's the point in having there own governments but England still funds them. Either your in or your out, choose.

12) compulsory General studys for GCSE's, However this would be things like CV writing, Interview techniques, Form filling, sex ed, tax and other goverment forms, house purchesing, renting rights and procedures, bank accounts, credit cards, loans, sales of goods act and many other daily activities that are essential but not covered by other subjects. Rather than the rubbish general studies is at the moment.
13) Immigrants would be subject to secure compounds, until visas are granted. Once visas are granted they would then have two years, to sit English Language, English history tests and to get a full time job, before becoming citizens. Anyone failing to achieve this with in two years would be deported. emigrants would also be subject to deportation for repeated small offences or a serious crime, for 8 years from entry into England.
14) reduction of speed cameras, on roads. But more police patrols to cathc dangerous drivers, Every school on a main road however would get a gatso.
15) an intergrated transport policy. Reopening village trainstationa and the expansion of the network. Most lines would be upgraded to dual up and down lines. Up and down fast for high speed inter city trains and slow up and down lines for village to city centre sprinters. Also a upgrade of stations and rolling stock, to remove lorry's from road. A roll on roll off system to be created at majour industrial centres.
16) lorrys, coaches, buses etc all to be speed limited to the same speed. ALso banned from over taking at rush hour.
17) An intergrated computer controlled traffic light system. That can tell what other traffic lights are doing. Easing jams and making them far more efficient. Legalise left turns at all traffic lights that our on red.
18) Building of new citys. As well as expanding existing citys. We should be designing and building new citys. These would be high tech , well planned citys. Bus stops not on the road, tram systems, roads that cars can move on. Houses with solar heaters and wind turbines. everything built with expansion and increase in mind.
19) Real environment taxes and initiatives. ie. energy saving light bulbs to be subsidised, well normal bulbs to be taxed heavily. A limit on packaging, also packaging to be standardised. ie all bottles to be the same plastic type for easy recycling. Abolish road tax and add it to fuel. That's where pollutants are made from the fuel, not what size engine the car is or anything else.
20) energy plans to reduce our need on foreign markets. First by building nuclear, Then replacing (or at the same time) with things like the Severn barrage, Also a bigger input on local generation. Like shipping ports having there own turbines. All new houses to contain at least one environmentally sound energy supply (solar heaters, heat exchange pumps, turbines etc.)

Oh one other thing, proper Re lessons at school, which actually teach people the difference in opinions and hopefuly build a better understanding between diffrent groups. Combined with the new laws on immigration and integration, it should work reasonably well. We should never ban religion.
