I'd like to see a benchmark of the new single platter 250Gb 7200.10, it uses the same platters as the 7200.11 will use so will be a fairly reliable indicator to what the new Seagates will be like. The 1Tb Samsung F1, however, should set the bar significantly higher - it's got three 334Gb platters so should go like slippery **** off a teflon shovel. By comparison we think the AAKS drives are quick, they only have 188Gb platters.

Well I found an HDTach graph from the new 7200.10 and all I can say is JEEBUS IT'S QUICK!!!!
