Now for a simpleton like me, this is the only explanation I've ever come across where the penny has finally dropped
I do rev matching (first technique he discusses) anyway and I guess most people do without giving it thought, but I'm eager to try the heel-toe method now.
One thing - the double-declutching not being needed/useful with modern cars, is this true? Is there no advantage to doing this now?
