Crysis Multiplayer Beta now on Fileplanet

Someone school me on usergroups, almost done on fileplanet so not much point but could come in handy soon
Any help mate, just ask me, been reaping the benefits of Usenet for a while now!
Surely supporting quad cores is something that should have be built into the engine from early development? isn't it a little late to add that in now
The full game does support it, been mentioned several times in interviews that its tuned for multi threading.
Maybe if theyd included that support in the beta it wouldn't run like a turtle crippled with arthritis.

i now STILL dont have a key
Stupid Virgin Media.. As soon as my download went over 400mb my download speed halfed to 114kbs I was going to use Giganews, but I gave FP a try and it nearly maxed my connection, I was using the FP Downloader aswell
Hmmmm....I'm joining dx10 servers but when i shoot the trees they don't fall
DX10 is disabled in beta i think? Which is brilliant in a game that's made for DX10
But will probably be enabled in singleplayer

DX10 aint in the beta nor is half the physics or features once again can I repeat the game is BETA . Im bored of multiplayer have been playing for over a week now. Im going to wait for the full fat single player demo now

Yes in the full game. The BETA does not support DX10 or any of it's features.

just got my key, about to download it now damm fileplant being slow. a 20mb internet connecton and the fastest they can give me is 100kb/s !!!! lol

LOL was frantically trying to get my key and kept getting taken to subscription page.. after reading that you guys had same problems I kept refreshing to no avail. I decided to check my account and it says I wasn't subscribed! I had logged into an old account that didn't have an active subscription man was crapping myself that I wasn't going to get a key!

Glad it is only beta cos performance on my 2900xt is rottle. 30-40 fps at 1440x900 no AA, no AF and all options on low is a joke.
If i try 16xAF and all on High i strugle to get double figures. Either the game is horrible optimised for ATi cards or my poor opteron [email protected] is really starting to show its age.
