Event Horizon is one of the very worst films of all time. Apalling. Scary Movie 2 is also poor, especially in comparison to the 3rd.

Independance Day for one! what an utter over-hyped pile of steaming dogs mess that was.
Speilbergs War of the Worlds - I was expecting a lot from this movie and felt robbed after seeing it.
Transformers (new one) - I grew up in the 80's so know exactly what a transformer should look like. Why the hell did the new movie change the robot design? they ruined everything.
Hawk The Slayer starring Jacks dad from Lost. Ok this film is so bad its GOOD! Right from the opening titles the music makes you double over in fits of laughter lol. The film is so badly made they painted ping pong balls with glowing paint for magic scenes. Used copious amounts of silly string and hoola-hoops with more glowing paint which just ends up looking daft and lazy. A truly bad film with an OTT Jack Palance doing his best with a dire role lol. *It also stars Bernard Breslaw from the carry on films who isnt half bad as a giant type character

The towering inferno - as much as I'm sure other people think this is a brilliant film, I don't. It bored me to the core with terrible acting and bad action sequences.

Simpsons movie was fun, but a bit like a long episode
I thought it was dreadful. Sure it had some funny parts, but the storyline was so 'wtf!?'.
I mean, there are some genious storylines through the years of Simpsons, but the storyline in the film was just crap! I know they have covered most things, but seriously to end Simpsons with that dribble just left me feeling gutted, empty and angry. I left that cinema absoloutely furious and dissapointed.
i must say i disagree with a fair few films in this thread, but i do have a very sick and twisted sense of humor so found films such as hostel, saw, think somone mentioned jason x, all very funny 
ive seen the 1st LOTR and have no realy urge to watch the others, they have all been on TV this week and i just cant make myself sit down for 3 hours and watch them
open water really is dire though, why did it take so long for the sharks
watch the black dahlia the other night, expecting a good investigation/thriller type film, that it was not, fell asleep about half an hour from the end, was really dissapointed
cant think of many films i really hated apart from open water tbh
id have to add donny darko to the list actually, but only because i was so confused after watching it

Return of the King was crap. If I could unsee the last hour of it I would.
Scary Movie 2 was ok but by no means brilliant.

If there is anything I hate it's people who say films that clearly aren't abysmal films. A lot of people here are clearly doing it for a 'shock' factor.
There's no way a lot of the films named in this thread are anywhere near the amount of crap you can see on Sky movies etc.. Terminal Error for example is a terrible, abysmal movie. Independance Day, Crouching Tiger etc.. aren't.
