Edit: Just went out and checked my spare to find it's a Continental 125/80 R17 99M with "INFLATE TO 60PSI" written on it. I can feel the grip from here!!![]()

Which is really the point I was making, using this as a possible scenario. The police controls do have direct contact with the CCTV operators, that is a fact. It is not unreasonalbe to suggest that such a conversation could take place, surely?[TW]Fox;10147854 said:People have been convicted of offences from CCTV footage, but not specific offences like 'You were doing 78mph'.

BMW's are more than happy at these speeds.[/QUOTE]
A Bugatti Veyron is more than happy at nearly 250mph. A car's capability to 'handle' high speed doesn't make it any less irresponsible and downright stupid if it is carried out on an open public highway.
A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. The driver is usualy the weakest link.
