How bad is this tyre?

Edit: Just went out and checked my spare to find it's a Continental 125/80 R17 99M with "INFLATE TO 60PSI" written on it. I can feel the grip from here!! :D

Hey, don't diss the spacesaver - it'll happily see you going sideways every time you touch the steering wheel :D

People have been convicted of offences from CCTV footage, but not specific offences like 'You were doing 78mph'.
Which is really the point I was making, using this as a possible scenario. The police controls do have direct contact with the CCTV operators, that is a fact. It is not unreasonalbe to suggest that such a conversation could take place, surely?

Do I have actual or specific evidence? Nope
Do I know someone who has done it? Nope
Do I think its a feesible scenario? Yup

I am not making a case for not driving quickly, simply for not promoting the fact you did it on a public web forum, because I am aware of people being prosecuted for doing just this, though perhaps with additional supporting evidence. ;)

The speed of the BMW determines to the size of your spare.........or in the case of the really quick ones, the lack of it :D

BMW's are more than happy at these speeds.[/QUOTE]

A Bugatti Veyron is more than happy at nearly 250mph. A car's capability to 'handle' high speed doesn't make it any less irresponsible and downright stupid if it is carried out on an open public highway.

A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. The driver is usualy the weakest link.

Goodbye :D
