And really dissapointed with Chuck
I wanted Forest to win which he did...but what the hell I wanted Shogun to have a brawl he just looked like he fell asleep and was totally Knackered!!
I really rate Machida, hes one the the most underated fighters!

I didn't see any difference in Chuck to normal to be honest, he always has difficultly facing another guy who can strike, he batters grapplers though.
That being said I did expect him to beat Jardine, I think he nearly had him in round 1, but Jardine is a tough dude.
Shogun just gassed bad, the long lay off, getting married, etc. I think he will be back. Funny because he was always the guy with the best cardio in mma... He would go 20 mins in Pride and be ok.
No doubt he will get to rematch Rampage for the title at some point, so rampage can have a shot a avenging his loss.
What happens now? maybe silva vs forrest, rampage vs shogun, or perhaps rampage vs forrest? hmm

For the second UFC running, I've got the top 3 predictions wrong, pathetic isn't it??
Shogun was very disappointing, clearly not in shape and continuing the trend of ex-Pride fighters unable to cope with the Octagon, Rampage excepted.
Good results for Forrest and Keith though, but I don't think either of them will win a title.

Id say the opposite. The fact that the underdog can win and often does makes the sport of MMA much more appealing. I always route for the underdog in boxing but they rarly ever win cause the opponants tend to be hand picked for the style even if they are ranked similarly.
MMA being so wide open is much better. It means there will always be competative matchs and more people will be attracted to train and compete knowing that the most atheletic or genetically gifted doesnt always win

I know what you mean... i respect Nick Diaz as a fighter (esp after seeing the gogoplata he pulled of in his fight against Gomi), he's very talented, but his mouth just ruins it for him.
I agree with both statements. When Diaz was talking to Robbie Lawler before knocking him out had me in stitchs. Also when he has Drew Fickett (off the top of my head) pressed against the cage punching him the face and saying "how do you like that bitch" while the camaramna was half a yard away

How about when Nick Diaz comes out for round 2 against Gomi, 'Lets go Bitch'. Had me on the floor, was like something out of duke nuke 'em. The Robbie Lawler fight was really good too, mainly cause Robbie is such a bell(no wonder he trains with Hughes).
The sport needs characters, Diaz, Baroni, Mayhem, Shamrock, Wandy, Rampage...
Would pay to see any of them for entertainment value alone.

Very surprised at Chuck, never really got going when in truth, it should have been a walkover.
Griffin was impressive, just a shame Shogun seemed to gas, it was all over halfway through the second round.
Only problem now is, 4 weeks+ till the next one.
