Average UK annual Mileage

As much as I like my Octavia, for what it gets used for something like that Mondeo Estate would have been far more suitable :o If it wasn't for the fact I'll lose a load of money on the Octavia thats probably what I'd do :o

The funny thing is the owner opened up the drivers door and told me to get inside. I told him to open up the boot because that was the main selling point. As soon as I saw the space in just the boot (without the seats down) I told him we were 90% of the way there.
I checked it all over and took it for a drive but thought the reverse was broke (you have to pull a middle bit up:rolleyes:) and then I tried to get into the bonnet.
After watching me for a minute he opened up the Ford logo on the front and put the key in to open the bonnet - I'd never seen that before.
He must have thought I was a right un.

Brilliant, isn't it? It's probably in better nick than a £4000 50,000 mile example that spends every day carting the kids to school and back through traffic as well.

absolutely correct. people are mad... safety by numbers eh?

I'd better come clean because I've heard how good this forum is at weeding out liars.

The car was at £2000 and I was all set to take my car to McGuinesses Scrap Yard on friday afternoon. I wasn't bothered about selling it because I know all its faults etc. With the 12 months Tax and £300 for my car it works out at £1500.

Not the bargain I originally had you believe but still a bargain.
