I think the point is they listed at £150 when they didn't have stock and now they have stock they match ocuk price.

Doubt anybody bought one at £150. They were a bargain at £170.
 
Is there any real difference between the "HIS ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro" and the "Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro".....the 2900 Pro looks great value for money? ;)

According to the bumph that was there, it was

Supplied with Fee Games on Steam coupon (Half-Life 2: Lost Coast and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch)
- Also supplied with Call of Juarez PC-DVD Game

No mention of while stock lasts. Not a biggie really, just a bit irritating ;)

As long as Leeds won tonight, I'm happy! :D

Typical bait and switch tactics from some stores.

Low priced stock you can't order as there is no ETA, then when the stock shows up the price goes up with it.

I ordered from OCUK as it was a reasonable price and you can choose RMSD ... else CityLInk and Home Delivery Networks just seem to cause chaos in my area, usually resulting in me driving to the depot and standing around for half an hour while the look for the parcel .... and it's not that far from OCUK anyhow.

Still waiting for the Sapphire users to report their overclocks and whether it comes with black box (I doubt it but will be a bargain if so!)
 
Black box isn't valid anymore I don't think :(

They replaced it with Orange box which you have to pay for!

If you get a black box voucher you can still redeem it for TFC2 and HL EPsiode 2 and PORTALS!!! and DOD:SOurce

I have all those games with my black box voucher :D 2900XT. Been playing TFC2 beta for 2 weeks and it rocks!!!!
 
Hold on .... Is HL episode 2 new ? I thought it was a new game not yet released, or is it a rehash of the first ?
I have the voucher unused as I was waiting for it to be released :o
 
Yes HL episode 2 is brand spanking new and is due to realease next week. It picks up the story from EP1 (obviously).

You can register now but you won't be able to play it until the 10th.

Apparantly there will still be a EP2 + Portal + TF2 package but on steam only and not after the games are released next week, so we shall wait and see.

If not you can always get the retail orange box where you will get 3 seperate codes, 1 for the new games above, 1 for the original HL2 and 1 for HL2 EP1. So you can always give the HL2 & EP1 codes away (or sell them) if you don't want them.

The price has only gone up £6 from the HIS to the Saphire...... not worth passing on a card for pocket change
