Ok imo these guys are huge, and just keep pumping out anthem after anthem, they're almost unstoppable. Some times a bit moody and melancholy, but their second album, Eyes Open, should be in everyones collection.

erol alkans been around for years , if anything hes one of the people influencing and behind the rebuilding of the french house scene .

he was playing justice , sebastiAn , mr oizos tracks long before id heard anyone else play there stuff over here , infact the new wave of french house isnt even popular in france so go figure that one out

erol has also done excellent production for most the "top" british and indie bands at the moment aswell

him and dave "switch" taylor are two of the most sought after producers in the world right now .

erol is actually god , i dont think i will ever dislike any of the production he does . his new track with late of the pier seems to be getting rave reviews absolutely everywhere based on its production

best thing about him is how down to earth he is , wont work with bands unless he really loves them and doesnt charge huge fees to dj even though hes fully booked till atleast march next year

Its nothing to do with me, I was implying that your list isnt representative of the whole UK scene, just the Indie/pop scene - I dont listen to much Hip Hop either was just trying to widen the scope a little.

They're like a good version of Editors.

I fnd the Editors very similar indeed to the Doves.

True, but i don't think i'd put Razorlight, The Feeling and The Editors among them

The Editors make some great songs.The back room is one of my favourite albums.
Razorlight and The Feeling on the other hand are just plain awful

I thought that and I think the lead singer is a right bell end

But having said that I saw them at Leeds Fest and they blew me away, best I saw along with We Are Scientists.

Ok I just got hold of their albums, have got o the end of Antics... and oh my God they are absolutely awesome. Why the **** have I not heard of these before?

Seems like they're not one of those bands that are on top of peoples minds... I never hear them mentioned on radio etc. Weird.
