Agger has been rotated, Hyypia brought in against Toulouse (away) and against Sunderland.
Pennant has been rotated, Benayoun was brought in for him against Toulouse (away), Toulouse (home) and against Reading.
Finnan also didn't play for 3 games after the Porto match.
Along with the 3 other positions you mention (left mid and up front which frankly have been all over the place in terms of selection) it's clear Rafa refuses to play a settled 11 every game barring injuries/suspensions, something which United and Chelsea do the majority of the time.
but it doesnt matter what others think, whether we draw at home to birmingham or win the champs league against Milan ... its easy for other supporters to criticise liverpool thses days afterall we set the standards for football that lasted decades where as say chelsea havent , but we are getting back there , dont you worry
yawn, look its rafa's way, he didnt win the champs league , fa cup , super cup and charity through luck fella, at Valancia he did the same and won the league twice against the worlds best barca/madrid .. sure its different here but he hasnt had the luxury that is time which ferguson has
It's pretty rare I see Chelsea name an unchanged team.
I wasn't counting the CL qualifiers or the Carling Cup game because then the likes of Utd would be rotating too and they don't do that
(Giggs and Tevez must have been injured midweek ). Other than those games there's been 1 'rotation' other than the positions ive mentioned, Agger vs Sunderland (Finann was and still is (since January(ish)) been carrying an injury and wouldnt have started the season had Aurelio been fit).And did you really go through every line-up to look for those changes? If you did then you've got way too much spare time.
What works somewhere doesn't necessarily work somewhere else in a different environment.

i agree, and thats why i didnt mention it would work, i merely stated thats how rafa works and he still needs time to get it right, but some clubs would love the success he has brought to liverpool in his 3 years

Its time Pool started to play some more direct attacking football and got the right players in to do it. Trying to play the way we used to play in the eighties with the "slow build up" method aint gonna cut it nowadays. Its about time we started to change with the times as if there is one team that is guilty of living in the past too much its us.

he might have won a european cup and got them to another final but he will NEVER win an english champsionship with this current philosophy.

it's unlikely he will change his ways though so i can see a change of management at the end of the season, unless the board really don't care about the league?!?
