Royal Mail Strike Action

Assuming you're on strike, you're part of the probem, not the solution.

I actually chose to work this morning believe it or not and the customers I deliver to were happy to see me back on my round, they vast majority of them didn’t give a monkeys about the strike and lack of post what does that say?

Part of the problem give over

or perhaps the country will start getting mail again? ;) :D

I was just thinking that, I never recall having complaints with RM when they use to nip round on bikes years ago, perhaps back then they had a more stringent employment practice and didn't take on people who thought they could dictate to their own employer how and when they should work.

Well done for doing the job you're paid to do, we applaud you!

You must either have the most understanding "customers" in the world or they didn't actually tell you what they thought of you.

I am in two minds over the strike action, while I have a great postie, and support the work that he hand his fellow staff do (he brings my mail in by hand into the office and hands it to me at my desk), its affecting my business.

We advertise in exchange and mart, and had no calls yesterday, usually we would have had maybe 30 calls on a monday from there.

Mixed feelings, its costing me money, ive lost about £5000 at least as a result of this current strike.

that explains it

Passed through school with flying colours if you must know, B's went to college for 2 years studied ICT & Business at the higher level and passed want me to scan the certificates? I just happened to land into this job, wasn’t a lifelong ambition.

dont get your knickers in a knot :p we were both being sarcastic ;)

Oh! :D:p Just knocks me up some of the comments branded about us being dummies.

i dont think anyone is calling you stupid for being in a job which involves next to no skill or qualifications, but rather calling you stupid for striking because RM can't bend over backwards and pay through the nose just to keep some arrogant cocky sods in jobs, if and when RM do make the job cuts i hope they start with the people striking.
